Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

NDI New Mexico is seeking a full time Grant Writer who will translate their joy in writing and research to promoting our mission through successful grant writing for our not-for-profit organization. A dynamic strategic business plan, an Advancement Team with new talents and focus, and our growth and expansion in the current economy, allows us to recruit the very best for this position located in Santa Fe.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for writing and submitting grant applications and reports to foundations, corporations, government entities and other associations or organizations for all NDI New Mexico programs. Manages all electronic and hard-copy documentation regarding grants, grant submissions, grant contacts and deadlines. Also researches and identifies prospects which might fund programs and needs of NDI New Mexico and cultivates prospective funders, as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years experience in grant writing and proficiency in Outlook, word processing, fundraising software and using spreadsheets. The candidate will possess a passion for accuracy, timeliness and successful outcomes; and enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.
