Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To serve as the BBBS-CNM primary contact for Tribal Governments, and tribal programs by providing leadership and direction to assist Tribal Governments involvement with BBBS-CNM. Establish and promote effective working relationships among tribal governments and BBBS in developing and establishing the Native American Mentoring Program. Provide technical assistance, information, training, contacts and support to further the goals of the Native American Mentoring Initiative(s).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Key Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintaining and/or engaging identified tribal community in the Native American Mentoring Initiative(s) by facilitating cultural competency training sessions for BBBS staff and BBBS training for Tribal Governments on the Native American Mentoring Initiative and Performing relevant Partnership Accounts Manager and Program related duties.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree req; Minimum of 5-yrs professional experience working with tribes, community groups, state/federal government and private organizations at a state or national level in tribal government, tribal law, sovereignty and related issues. Native American Tribal member is preferred.
