Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director of NIYC works closely with the Board of Directors on strategies to improve access to services in New Mexico with large American Indian communities. The ED leads the organization and staff in designing, planning, and implementing employment and training programs for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act grant and related program funds. The ED directs staff and develops program infrastructure to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Actively develops and maintains the organization’s strategic plan and working portfolio approved by the Board of Directors. Oversees and reports on the organization's results to BOD.
Responsible for planning and direction of NIYC’s day to day operations and programs.
