Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Executive Director (ED) will guide the Barelas Community Coalition (BCC) into its next phase of growth and expansion, including:
implementing our strategic plan with the Board of Directors; supporting and supervising staff and contractors; managing finances; fundraising and grant writing; public relations and raising our visibility.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience as a Executive Director or equivalent experience
Degree in community planning, public administration, nonprofit management or equivalent
demonstrated success in grant writing and fundraising
excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Barelas Community Coalition is a community-based planning and advocacy organization dedicated to limiting the negative effects of gentrification and development on historic communities like Barelas. Our objectives are to create sustained partnerships with nonprofit/for-profit organizations and government agencies to bring needed services and
resources to the community, and to advocate for and create comprehensive housing and housing rehabilitation program.
