Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Board of Directors of the Santa Fe Botanical Garden (SFBG - Garden) seeks an Executive Director (ED) to lead the next phase of the Garden’s development. After three years as ED, Dr. David A. Young will be stepping down and returning to Garden’s Board of Directors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Lead and inspire a nationally recognized botanical garden focused on science and conservation. Oversee fundraising, strategic planning, programs, and team leadership. Serve as the Garden's primary representative, fostering partnerships and community engagement. Seeking an innovative, action-oriented leader passionate about the mission, skilled in budgeting, collaboration, and audience growth.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Seeking a proven leader with a bachelor’s degree (advanced preferred) and 10+ years of experience in non-profit leadership. Responsibilities include fundraising, fiscal management, and team supervision. Competitive salary starts at $110,000 with benefits.
