Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Barrett Foundation, Inc. seeks an experienced, innovative, hands-on, self-starting executive committed to public service who possesses strong leadership, planning,organizational, and motivational skills to carry forward its mission of providing housing and supportive services to homeless women and children who are striving to break the cycle of homelessness.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Position responsibilities include: directing all entities affiliated with the Barrett Foundation, managing a $1.25 million annual budget, program and contract administration, fundraising, grant writing, supervising and developing employee associates and volunteers, acting as liaison to the board of directors, extensive public relations, and adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The minimum educational requirement includes a bachelor’s degree in a social service field, though a master’s degree in a social service area, public administration, or other management degree is preferred. Excellent writing, public speaking, computer, and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in this
challenging position. In addition, all potential candidates will be subject to a thorough background check prior to the start date.
