Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Events Manager at SFBG executes, coordinates, and oversees events and rentals, including weddings, retreats, and public programs like La Luz de Las Noches. This role manages logistics, vendor relations, contracts, and budgets, ensuring seamless execution while aligning events with SFBG’s mission and strategic goals to enhance guest experiences.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Events Manager supports marketing efforts, cultivates client relationships, ensures policy compliance, and maintains event spaces. They oversee staffing, volunteer coordination, and vendor partnerships, enhancing operational efficiency. They analyze post-event feedback, develop strategies to increase revenue, and contribute to community engagement, upholding SFBG’s reputation as a premier event destination.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; strategic, goal-oriented, and adaptable. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management or similar field with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and Google applications. Requires flexibility, physical stamina, and dedication to SFBG’s mission.
