Events and Project Coordinator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for all aspects of events management, including corporate sponsorship cultivation, planning and procurement as related to events, and as required by the Development & Communications Director, and volunteer committee oversight.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Manages home dedications, groundbreakings/opening ceremonies, donor appreciate events.
➢ Manages all special campaigns related to Giving Tuesday, Women Build, and others.
➢ Maintains and upholds active and positive relationships with a variety of outside organizations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Min three (3) years’ experience in event planning/management w/ 2 years' of related work experience in non-profit setting.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills; comfortable speaking in public.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan, and organize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to supervise and direct volunteers.
