Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services, Inc. has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Early Childhood Service Coordinator. Position is responsible for providing service coordination/case management services for families with children with special needs, ages 0-3. Position Requires BA/BS in Family Studies, Early Childhood or a related field and at least 2 years of related experience. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

EXPERIENCE
Position requires at least 2 years of Early Intervention experience. Knowledge of outside agencies, accessing SSI, Medicaid, etc. BA/BS in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, special education, Early Childhood education or related field. Preferred MA/MS in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing special education, Early Childhood education or related field.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Staff Development Requirements
Current New Mexico driver’s license, or ability to arrange transportation to meet agency needs as assigned. Current automobile liability insurance.
Mandatory Annual Training
Attend the required Family Service Coordination trainings (online and classroom) within 6 months of hire and take the non-credit on-line Family Service Coordination Training Part I and Part II every 3 years to for updates on revised requirements
