Director of Early Childhood/Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Full-time director position in Española overseeing Family Infant Toddler Program and a team of licensed therapists, developmental specialists, and service coordinators providing services to children, who have or are at risk of a developmental delay, ages 0-3 and their families living in Rio Arriba, Los Alamos, and Northern Santa Fe County.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for direction, coordination, and implementation of early intervention services through the New Mexico Department of Health, Family Infant Toddler (FIT) program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to program development, program fiscal management, quality assurance, compliance with standards and reporting requirements, public relations, community collaboration/coordination, staff training and technical assistance.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of five years of experience in promoting infant/toddler development in family-centered services, Master's degree preferred. Experience working with IDEA Part C and Part B. Experience working directly with young children with developmental delays and/or risk factors and their families. Management level experience in a program with complex regulations, requirements and timelines. Bilingual highly desireable.
