Director of Development- School of Engineering

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Identify and cultivate prospects and solicit major gifts for the departments in the School of Engineering.
• Lead the Annual Giving Appeal, working with the Development Specialist & the Foundation’s Director of Donor Acquisition.
• Help launch the Corporate Affiliate Program, in collaboration with the Director of the Engineering Student Success Center.

Other Information/Requirements: 

-A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution required
-Five (5) or more years related experience in development/fundraising/outside sales
-Experience in higher education or other non-profit organization
-Experience with sponsorships and fundraising events
-Proven ability to develop relationships and solicit sponsorships and private gifts
