Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations will advocate for Menaul School’s mission and build strong relationships with stakeholders. They will work with administrators, faculty, staff, and alumni while managing staff, volunteers, and committees. Responsibilities include fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, grant research, and overseeing appeals, fundraisers, and campaigns. They will also plan and execute fundraising and alumni events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role serves as the liaison for the Parents’ Association and Alumni Board, reports to the Board of Trustees, and leads faculty giving efforts. Additional duties include tracking donations, managing scholarships and endowments, and ensuring appropriate donor follow-up. They will also maintain updated donor and alumni records, track scholarship availability, and coordinate annual recognition for Society members while working to expand membership.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree required, appreciation for secondary education

· Minimum two years successful experience in fundraising and event management

· Prior experience in educational and/or alumni work preferable

· Organized, flexible, individual who is a quick learner with exceptional written and oral communications skills

· Ability to manage volunteers/committees

· Team player
