Development Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Circles New Mexico, a high impact strategy to end poverty led by Move the Mountain is seeking a highly skilled Development Officer. Person will be responsible to identify a balanced mix of potential sponsors, grants and funding sources, build and foster relationships with potential funders, grant writing, provide input and direction to create a sustainable development plan, and help in organizing and coordinating fundraising activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ensure follow up for acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship of donors, help in creation of prospect materials, help identify, recruit and train members for the Resource Team

Other Information/Requirements: 

Job description will be formulated according to our needs and the candidate's qualifications. Position will begin as part-time with possibilities to develop into a full-time position. Donor Perfect software experience a plus.
