Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa Esperanza is seeking a talented Development Director with strong fundraising experience, including special events, sponsorship solicitation, and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with key volunteers, major donors, and corporate sponsors. The Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive fundraising program with a $750K—$900K budget.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Development Officer must have excellent organizational, networking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to prioritize multiple projects, work with minimal supervision, and be willing to advance the goals and mission of Casa Esperanza. Must be self-confident, team-oriented, and self-motivated. Must be willing to work and/or travel during irregular hours and weekends as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and at least 3 years of experience is required. Must have experience working with major gifts and individual, institutional, and corporate donors. Research and organizational skills are needed, including grant writing and reporting, special event coordination, and marketing experience. Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered.
