Main Areas of Responsibility: 

SAR has an evolving team of enthusiastic professionals, searching for a development director, who is passionate about the mission of the School for Advanced Research. With the chief advancement officer, explore giving opportunities developed and executed in alignment with SAR’s development goals/strategy, and support SAR’s long-term strategic goals. Full-time, exempt.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop strategies for major and planned giving strategies for annual fund and campaign/project support •Maintain an active portfolio of major giving and planned giving prospects and work to exceed annual visit, solicitation, and realized gift goals defined by CAO. Experience with donor relations, written proposals, hands-on attention to donors. Moves management.

Other Information/Requirements: 

CFRE preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree, 5 to 7 years' proven fundraising experience. willing and available to work nights and weekends as necessary
