Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Manage the donor database and fundraising files, tracking donations, grants, contract requirements and communications with funders.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising plan and annual report.
• Recognize and communicate with current and potential funding partners through personalized calls, emails, press releases, event invitations and thank you cards.
• Write grant proposals and grant reports.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Work closely with Executive Director to identify, cultivate and solicit major donors.
• Set up meetings and small friend-raising events for friends of Gerard’s House and potential donors.
• Manage and assist the Board of Directors and fundraising volunteers in fundraising efforts, including fundraising events.
• Explore and advise on additional fundraising activities.
