Development Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinate, evaluate and expand fundraising and outreach programs under the direction of the Branch Manager and in collaboration with the Regional/National resource team and volunteer leadership.

Expand fundraising and development activities and volunteer participation designed to increase the identification, education, cultivation, and stewardship of donors and volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

3+ years of relevant fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and special events coordinating experience.
Experience with computer systems and databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
Effectively multi-task, establishes priorities, and work in a fast paced environment. Highly efficient in time management and can meet deadlines under pressure.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Ability to travel locally required (some out-of-town travel necessary).
Occasional evening and weekend work required as needed.
Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
Bilingual preferred.
Sales Experience preferred.
