Community Outreach and Development Coordinator

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include developing relationships with private, government, and tribal sectors of the community to recruit mentors and youth into our program as well as assist with fund development. This includes but is not limited to giving presentations, setting up informational booths, soliciting corporate sponsors, and helping to organize events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Strong oral communication skills, relationship-building skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required for the success of this job. A background in marketing, public relations, or fund development is preferred.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum:
• Bachelor of Arts degree plus 4 years of fundraising experience preferred. Additional fundraising experience or transferable skills may be substituted for part of the educational requirement
• Willing and able to work irregular hours and have a flexible work schedule when necessary. Available to attend events in the early morning, evening, and weekends
• Willing and able to use personal vehicle for local travel on Agency business, with valid
NM driver’s license and proof of insurance
