Community Engagement Specialist

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for successfully recruiting and converting leads of individuals interested in joining Girl Scouts into registered girl and adult members. The position is responsible for connecting with girls and adults in volunteer recruitment efforts, as well as assisting in the development of community partnerships needed to implement Girl Scouting in the metro (central NM) area.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Plan and execute recruitment events which generate leads into member conversion. Events may be of various sizes and at various locations throughout the metro (central NM) area. Work with Community Engagement Manager and cross-functional team to determine or develop innovative techniques to ensure the effective delivery of recruitment strategies.

Other Information/Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s or higher or equivalent experience of direct work-related experience.
2.Experience in outside sales, recruitment, marketing, community relations, or other relevant areas preferred.
3.Experience in membership development, recruitment and/or retention preferred.
4.Experienced in data management using sales/customer management preferred.
5.Written and oral communication skills.
6.Interpersonal skills.
