Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for successfully acquiring and cultivating in-kind, financial, and volunteer resources which supports the operations and programs of the agency. Develops and nurtures relationships within the community, with donors, and with volunteers by planning and implementing events and through volunteer activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include sustaining and enhancing the relationships between donors and the agency; coordinating various aspects of the organization’s fundraising and resource development activities; communicating with staff and clients to assess the organization’s resource needs; organizing special events, volunteer recruitment, and the procurement of tangible resources for the agency. Acts as the chair of the Fundraising Committee.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associates degree in a related field OR three years of related experience in lieu of education.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of the team to ensure that the highest quality and most relevant aspects of the job and services are provided.
Maintain relationships in such a way as to promote mutual respect, public respect, and improvement of services.
