Co-Executive Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Co-ED is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and communications including (1) fundraising & donor development; (2) special events; (3) communications: champion our vision of youth-led sustainable community; (4) work with staff and board of directors on development projects and initiatives. The co-ED's main objective is to adhere to a strategic plan to procure funds while promoting our mission and programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Other Duties
Business/corporate; Sponsorship/advertising sales; fundraising budget and record keeping. Other areas of primary responsibility in line with the Co-ED role will be assigned based on the skills and experience the candidate brings to this position and may include support of financial management, human resources management, and organizational development.

Other Information/Requirements: 

*Be a committed and dynamic champion of Earth Care and its mission *Understand youth and sustainable community development but most important be willing to learn.*Proven abilities in donor development and a record of setting and meeting fundraising goals.*Ability to work as part of a shared leadership team, collegially and effectively with the Co-ED, staff, and BOD. *Min. Bachelor’s degree and understand the ins and outs of nonprofits, including legal fund-raising techniques.
