Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Child Development Director provides leadership and management in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the early childhood and family support programs, including regulatory and grant compliance. Director ensures that services are delivered in a developmentally appropriate, family-responsive manner, and that New Mexico State childcare regulations and organizational policies and procedures are met.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Evaluate staff, and monitor evaluations of staff supervised by subordinates. Demonstrate sensitivity to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, and individual differences among families served. Communicate through verbal/nonverbal means accurately and professionally. Maintain sensitive information within the confines of need-to-know parameters. Ensure that program data is collected and maintained in a systematic and accurate manner. Represent CLN at community meetings related to the programs.
