Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Do you love working in an early childhood environment and have experience managing teams and funding streams? We would love to talk to you about our Director of the Children's Learning Center position. The Children's Learning Center is a bilingual (English/Spanish) and low-cost childcare option in the South Valley of Albuquerque that hosts preschool classrooms (for children as young as 6 weeks old) as well as two NM Pre-K classrooms.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Experience in the classroom as well as a proven track record at the supervisory and management levels. We are looking for someone who can maintain our high standard of care and balance the many facets of running a childcare center. They will work with other center leadership to manage: classroom environments, parent engagement, kitchen and Food Program standards and reporting, NECPA certification, NM Pre-K standards, audit preparation and responses, and ECECD communications and guideline implementation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience; 2 years of direct experience in a non-profit agency; budgeting, development and implementation; 3 years of experience in the classroom as well as supervisory and management levels; minimum of 2 years’ experience in government grant management; and proficient with MS Office. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
