Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are currently hiring a Barista to help us run our new fast-casual local food and beverage service at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum. The Barista position is a cross-trained position between three stations behind the counter: POS/Action Station, Barista Station, and Food Prep Station. The Barista is responsible for quality assurance, running food and drinks, making beverages, operating the Point of Sales system, and engaging customers in exemplary service.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Preparing and expediting food and drink
Maintaining cleanliness
Operation of POS system
Operation of an espresso machine, commercial grinders, and coffee brewers
Operation of a TurboChef oven, induction burner, and other kitchen equipment
Exemplary customer service
Ability to knowledgeably answer customer questions about the menu and organizational mission

Prior barista experience is a plus
