Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Center for Refugee Support is looking to welcome an Associate Director to supervise daily operations, identify community needs and implement supports, pursue funding streams, and document outcomes and growth for participants. They will be responsible for supervising part-time employees who work with community participants in the following target languages: Dari, Pashto, Swahili, and Arabic.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
B.A. degree OR a combination of education and recent experience. A minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in a non-profit agency and supervisory experience; strong time-management skills; ability to organize/ coordinate multiple projects at once; experience applying for and managing grants and budgets; exemplify kindness, compassion, and welcoming both as a supervisor and partner to other community agencies and program participants; high proficiency in MS Office w/web-based experience.
Work independently with minimum supervision; a valid NM driver’s license with clean record and a satisfactory criminal background check. Preference will be given to candidates that have lived experience as a refugee, have worked in refugee circles, and are bilingual in one of our current target languages. This position will work approximately 15-19 hours per week with some night and weekend hours required.
Pay range starts at $22.39 per hour, DOE.
