Associate Director

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Associate Director serves as an advisor and thought partner to the ED on high level strategy, while managing the day to day implementation of programming in development and communications, engaging and supporting staff, and resolving issues before they reach executive level.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Some Duties Include:
• Manage staff on a day-to-day operation
• Provide oversight for all professional development and events
• Oversee NMOST's new Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative
• Develop and oversee NMOST projects and other duties as assigned.
• Work closely with ED to create and achieve fundraising goals.
• Oversee allocation of grant funds in accordance with legal obligations to grant makers

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preferred Experience and Education:
• Graduate degree in public administration, planning, social work, or a related field
• Excellent program management, organizational, and communication skills
• Track record of success in development and fundraising
• Experience with hands-on, grant management, budget management
• Experience in the afterschool, out-of-school time, and/or the youth development field

Salary Range: 
$62-72K DOE + benefits package and flexible leave policy
