Main Areas of Responsibility:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals/snacks by methods that maintain high nutrient levels and that are sanitary. Responsible for performing set-up and clean-up duties in the kitchen and pantry area, as well as picking up and delivering food as assigned. Must be adaptable to menu changes, organized, with great time management, kitchen skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; 1 year experience in large-scale food preparation or licensed childcare/school setting; a valid NM Driver’s License with the ability to drive; and comply with a level II background screening as required by agency and State Licensing. Preference will be given to candidates that have a Food Handlers Certificate, experience with Child and Adult Care Food Program, and bilingual in English/Spanish.
