Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Arc of NM, a local 501(C)3, is looking for a FT Advocacy & Education Program Manager is to actively carry out the Arc of NM’s mission in promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Responsible for general oversight of the A&E Department’s programs: general advocacy services, the Education Program, and Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Program
• Responsible for the administrative needs of A&E program, program staff, managing the overall quality of the program(s) and is an active participant in direct- service delivery for the programs as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Ensure compliance with all grantor contract compliance requirements pertaining to the A&E Programs, including up-to-date case files, required reports including grant reporting, and invoices.

BA req'd, health services or social work discipline preferred, with minimum of 3-5 years of advocacy experience for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and supervisory experience.
