Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Manage the department's prospect research program that includes major donor prospect identification and designing strategic cultivation and solicitation strategies. Desired outcomes include the identification of new Academy Society prospects, donor and leadership volunteer prospects for targeted regions throughout the country, and prospects celebrating key reunions with leadership gift capacity.
• Donor cultivation programs and activities, including event work.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Prospect stewardship, with projects to include writing alumni class notes, populating the Wall of Honor with alumni and donor information, collecting and writing news stories celebrating donors and alums, and reporting to donors on the activity supported through their gift funds.•
The Academy's advancement staff is responsible for raising awareness about the importance of philanthropy to the school, and as a result increasing donations that critically impact the school's operating budget.
