Adult Education Substitute Instructor

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The substitute instructor will fill in for our permanent instructors in the instance of an absence. Substitutes will teach either in person or online, and they will follow provided lesson plans. They are also responsible for maintaining a healthy learning environment for students. *Note: This is an on-call position, and hours available will vary.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In the event that a long-term substitute is needed (more than 2 consecutive weeks), the sub may be responsible for creating lesson plans. In this situation, the substitute will also be paid for prep time in addition to class time.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
