Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Often the first NMWC employee that visitors meet either in person or by phone, requires a high degree of flexibility, discretion, attention to detail, and time management. Daily administrative tasks. Also responsible for the overall administration of the volunteer program. More information in full job description on website.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Support the accurate and timely completion of AP/AR, bank deposits, PayPal transfers, deposit reports, and payroll assistance. Open and close Visitor Center lobby and sales area. Operate point of sales, maintain and track inventory. Assist with animal rescue intakes and follow intake protocols. Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Strong planning and time management skills, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines
Customer service skills
A minimum of three year’s prior experience in an administrative or office role
AA/S or BA/S degree or combination of education and related experience
