Grasslans Charitable Foundation

Mission/Giving Statement: To conserve wildlife through the study and management of the habitat and ecosystems on which they depend, Grasslans Charitable Foundation operates and maintains a biological field station in the "core area" of New Mexico that is habitat for the lesser prairie-chicken, a candidate species for listing under the endangered species act. Federal and State wildlife agency personnel as well as University and other researchers and volunteers use this field station to facilitate their work in the area on prairie-chickens and other species.
