Grantmaking Program Area Descriptions:
Arts & Culture: Grants support programs that increase opportunities to participate in, and/or learn about, the arts of diverse cultures with a priority on the low-income and/or at-risk children and youth populations
Education: Grants support programs for early childhood and adult learning experiences including literacy, parental involvement programs and vocational/career training
Environmental & Historic Preservation: Grants support the preservation of historic resources, conservation of natural land and wildlife and education programs with an emphasis on K-12 education programs and/or projects with strong community involvement
Health: Grants support access to quality health care (including mental health) for uninsured, underinsured and medically underserved adults and children
Human Services: Grants support programs assisting vulnerable populations including at-risk children/youth; aid for people in transition or who are homeless to become self-sufficient; and nurture families
Types of Funding/Funding Restrictions: Grants are made to support, strengthen, and sustain an organization’s programs that address the needs of our community with an emphasis on underserved and at-risk populations.
