Joanne Fine is the Chief Communications Officer, United Way of Central New Mexico. During her tenure at UWCNM she has been responsible for all of the organization’s marketing, advertising and public relations efforts. The organization quadrupled its fundraising during that time and has been awarded over 100 state, regional and national communication awards. These awards include Best in Show from the New Mexico Advertising Federation, the Cumbre and El Conquistador Awards from the New Mexico Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, a regional Telly award, and a regional Emmy award. The UWCNM website was recognized by United Way of America as the best United Way website in the country. Fine has personally been recognized by the NM Marketing Association as Marketer of the Year and by the NM Advertising Federation with a Silver Medal for outstanding service to the advertising industry.
