Documenting Your Program's Value
Through this interactive session, participants will learn how to address their program's goals and objectives through a meaningful evaluation process. Data collection techniques will be discussed that will enable organizations to make improvement to their programs, demonstrate client outcomes to their various funding agencies and provide tools to help with organizational changes.

Presenters are Barbra Portzline PhD, Creative Evaluation & Organizational Development Services and Shannon Morrison PhD. Barbra is a recognized expert in program evaluation, working throughout the USA. She was a speaker at national conferences of ARC, Public Health Association and the American Evaluation Association. Barbra has authored several articles on program evaluation and taught at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at the University of New Mexico. Shannon is a sociologist with over 19 years experience in conducting program planning, evaluation and research. For the past five years, Shannon has been the evaluation consultant for the New Mexico Co-Occurring State Incentive Grant (COSIG), working with adult and youth behavioral health agencies in the development and implementation of co-occurring competent practices, quality improvement processes, and process and outcome evaluation measures including provider fidelity assessments and client outcome measures.
