Donor Cultivation: Relationships are Everything
Donors are faced with a dizzying array of nonprofits seeking support for their missions. How do donors choose one nonprofit over another? How can you set your organization apart?
In the course of the session, we will discuss and explore the psychology of giving, as well as the psychology of donor cultivation. We will talk about specific ways you can bring current supporters closer to your organization and identify new supporters. We will bring focus to your donor cultivation activities by discussing high payoff vs. low payoff opportunities. Finally, we will talk about how a thorough program of relationship-building through donor cultivation will lead to more and larger gifts for your organization.
