Calle Poindexter
Calle Poindexter is the founder and owner of High Point Nonprofit Services, an Albuquerque-based company that provides nonprofits and mission-based businesses with niche services to promote growth, development, and organizational sustainability. Originating from Colorado, she has lived and experienced the big skies of Montana and the vastness of Texas, where she was the Executive Director of an equine-assisted services nonprofit whose program provided therapeutic riding lessons to individuals with disabilities or special needs. Throughout her career she has gained valuable experience serving in nearly every role a nonprofit organization needs to operate and established High Point Nonprofit Services to bridge the limitations many nonprofits experience in achieving their vision and optimizing their impact. She has partnered with organizations of all sizes for fundraisers and galas, multi-day conferences, small networking events and everything in between for the past 15 years. Calle values the unique qualities of each organization she works with and tailors her services in response to this to curate a memorable, impactful experience for all.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, her Master of Public Administration from Sam Houston State University and was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie National Champion Equestrian Team. She is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through PATH Intl. and teaches her Ashva Yoga curriculum to veterans at a local equine therapy barn, implementing yoga principles from the mat, to the arena, and into daily life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her menagerie of animals, kayaking the waters and hiking the mountains of New Mexico, and reading over 100 books every year.
