Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF) seeks seasonal volunteers to staff our pop-up gift shop during the holiday season and oversee the gallery space through the end of December.
Volunteers will have the following duties:
• Staff the temporary gift shop in Suite 1 and the gallery across the hall
• Handle gift shop and gallery transactions using a Square terminal
• Arrange and tidy the gift shop
• Answer basic questions about the building, garden, and HSFF
Available volunteer shifts:
• Tuesday 9:30am-1pm
• Tuesday 1-5pm
• Wednesday 1-5pm
• Friday 9:30am-1pm
• Friday 1-5pm
HSFF’s open hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and volunteer shifts are flexible in timing and duration within those hours depending on meetings and off-site events. Volunteers will work with assistance from and under the direction of HSFF staff and will receive training on how to run the gift shop and speak about El Zaguán and HSFF.
