Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
September 21, 2014 the Race for the Cure will take place at Manzano High School. We are looking for people who are passionate, friendly, knowledgeable, interested in learning/ helping or all of the above that can commit to volunteer on Race day. There are opportunities LEADING up to the event as well as during the Race anytime between 5:15AM and 12:00PM.
Each year passionate volunteers are what make Albuquerque's Race for the Cure® possible. Specific volunteer listings and descriptions are posted at komencnm.org/volunteers/ and will include opportunities for individuals and small/large groups. If you or your team members are interested in volunteering, contact us to let us know what you/your group is interested in doing to help with the 2014 Race. Lets Race for the Cure together!

Through events like the Annual Komen Central New Mexico Race for the Cure®, we have invested over $2.2M in local breast health and breast cancer awareness projects in Bernalillo, Los Alamos, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrance and Valencia counties.
