Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Gerard's House is a non-profit that provides free grief support for children, adolescents and adults. Through art, play, and connection we support youth who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to death, deportation, incarceration, abandonment, kidnapping or separation by borders. We want to train you to co-facilitate a support group! Mandatory volunteer training is coming up: July 17-18 and July 31-Aug 1.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Because so many families experience barriers when they need grief support we energetically focus making our services available to EVERYONE in Santa Fe. Groups are in English and Spanish for children ages 3 and up as well as adults. Some of our grief support groups take place the Santa Fe Public Schools to support students with immigrant roots. All our services are free of charge.
