Spanish Speaking Therapist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Therapists at RCCCNM provide professional therapy for survivors of sexual violence, including sexual assault, abuse, and incest and to others impacted by these issues. The bilingual Spanish/English therapist provides case coordination and advocacy for Spanish speaking survivors by interfacing with various systems including employers, legal/court system, family/friends, medical, school, etc. Case load will include both Spanish speaking and English speaking clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide individual, family and group therapy for survivors of sexual violence and others affected by sexual violence. Provide assessment and treatment planning in Spanish and in English for survivors of sexual violence and others affected by sexual violence. Provide case management, case coordination, referrals and advocacy. Provide court testimony when necessary, including expert witness testimony. Provide professional documentation and record keeping.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently. Masters degree and licensure in Counseling (LPCC, LMHC), Art Therapy (LPAT), Social Work (LMSW, LISW), or related discipline.
Experience working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
