Main Areas of Responsibility:
Friendly Voice is a telephone check-in project that connects members of the SAGE community who would like to receive phone calls (due to loneliness, isolation, etc.) with people who can call them on a regular basis. Its policies and procedures are already in place, and we expect it to grow substantially under the new Project Coordinator. The SAAC anticipates entering into a contract with the successful candidate and our fiscal agent, the EQNM Foundation.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
1. Project planning and evaluation – identify resource needs, recruit volunteers to be callers.
2. Train and supervise volunteer callers, match callers and guests, and monitor progress.
3. Develop an implementation timeline and action.
4. Conduct outreach within the community and with agencies.
5. Use and update as needed the project’s existing marketing and communication approaches.
6. Develop a budget for the FV project.
7. Update annually a contractor position description.
