Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Regional Executive Director position of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern New Mexico (SENM) is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and experienced leader to develop and expand our organization and its impact. Big Brothers Big Sisters of SENM matches vulnerable children, ages 6-17, with volunteer mentors. Our research-based programs are proven to help children succeed in school and avoid drugs and violence.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Regional Executive Director serves as the organization’s leader, representing and delivering Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission to an 8-county area. The E.D. is accountable for the management of all operations and supervises a staff of 10. The E.D. provides vision and strategic direction to the Board and staff, and works closely with them to set and execute organizational goals. Effective fundraising is an essential part of this job, as is the development of the Board.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications
We seek candidates with five or more years of executive-level leadership experience in a comparable organization. Proven success in fundraising and board development is essential. The ideal candidate will also be a passionate advocate for youth and an articulate spokesperson for the organization. A Bachelor’s degree is required. This position offers highly competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications.
