Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The May School Director is responsible for the overall management of the school, in accordance with the board’s policies. Please see the job posting at maycenter.org/employment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The May School Director is the spokesperson for the school with all its internal and external constituencies including students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, neighbors, and national educational organizations and accrediting agencies. The May School Director reports directly to the May Center for Learning Executive Director.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
Masters degree in education leadership, or related field
At least three years of experience in education leadership
Knowledge and experience working with students who have learning differences and their families
Knowledge of Montessori methods preferred.
Salary range is $85,000-$90,000 with a $5,000 bonus upon completion of successful first year.
