Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Albuquerque Little Theatre (ALT) is searching for our next Managing Director!
ALT’s Managing Director (MD) is a key part of the ongoing success of the business and ensures efficient processes and operational health and is directly reportable to the Board of Directors (BoD). This position works closely with the Artistic Director (AD) as the two primary leadership positions of the theatre.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Working with the AD and the BoD in developing the theatre’s strategic direction
• Hiring and supervising the theater administrative staff and volunteers
• Conducting performance appraisals of all administrative staff
• Actively participating in fundraising activities
• Setting and overseeing all marketing goals
• Making contact with new and existing donors.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications Desired
Bachelor’s in business management;or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hands on experience in the field, or other equivalent experience
• Business savvy skills: Knowledge operational systems
• Time management skills

• Teamwork skills
• Interpersonal skills: The ability to work closely with the AD and cooperate when making joint decisions.
