Main Areas of Responsibility:
Work with ACT program to provide treatment, rehab & support to clients with severe persistent mental illnesses identified as "difficult to treat". MH Clinical Counselor responsible for providing service coordination including coordinating and monitoring activities of the individual treatment team; Develop, implement, evaluate & revise treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the client and the team. Povide supportive therapy and symptom management.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Requires Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, Independent License in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling; 1+ yr experience with adults with severe persistent mental illnesses. Must have valid NM Driver’s license, clean driving record, be computer literate, have strong team skills and a commitment to the ACT model and methods. Knowledge of the ACT model helpful.
