Grant Writer

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Parttime 25 hours weekly.
Researches and writes all grants/grant reports; works closely with Director of Development.
 Maintains accurate grants calendar.
 Communicates effectively with granting officers and foundation representatives.
 Build relationships with foundation, corporate and government funders
Writes and submits all due grant reports to funders

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Coordinate with program managers and finance staff to gather necessary information for grant proposals, including budgetary details and program outcomes.
• • Stay informed about trends and changes in the grant funding landscape and advise on strategic opportunities for funding
• Track and report on the status of grant applications and outcomes to internal stakeholders.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Prerequisite Requirements:
• Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the grant writing field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successfully securing grants from government agencies, foundations, or corporations.
