Grant Resource Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Grant Resource Manager is responsible for researching, applying for and the processing necessary to secure grants and private donations to help keep the Center up and running. The Grant Resource Manager collaborates with the fundraising committee to document donations and incorporate those donations appropriately into the budget. Represents the center for foundation grant, government agency funding and private funding proposals and reporting.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Basic data collection and documentation for donor tracking in a data base. Communicates with the Center’s Board of Directors, Finance Manager and Office Manager regarding compliance with laws and fiduciary responsibilities of grant contracts. Maintains and prioritizes a “wish-list” of equipment, media and materials to enhance/improve the programs of all Center classrooms available to the Board members and the Donors as requested.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA Business Administration, min. 10 yrs fund accounting, budget & grant preparation, grant review & reporting, client contact, business plan development and marketing. Background in early childhood education. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Collaborative style. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks. Criminal background check. If an outside contractor certificates of insurance for liability & workman’s comp. SALARY RANGE commensurate with experience.
