Events Coordinator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Parttime 30 hours weekly.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for all aspects of events management, including corporate sponsorship cultivation, planning and procurement as related to events, and as required by the Development & Communications Director, along with establishing and cultivating small donors of under $1,000.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage and lead all aspects of the annual fundraising events and recruit sponsors; Interpersonal Relationships and Stewardship - Maintain positive working relationships with the Board of Directors, the Development Committee, Volunteers, and the staff of Habitat.; Participation in Training & Development Activities; Partner Relationships and other duties as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’ Degree and at least three years of related work experience in a non-profit setting.
• Min three (3) years’ experience in fundraising event planning and events management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in public.
