Events Coordinator

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for all aspects of events management, including corporate sponsorship cultivation, planning and procurement as related to events, and as required by the Development & Communications Director, along with establishing and cultivating small donors of under $1,000.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Affiliate and Outreach Activities –
Leads, plans, and attends GAHH community outreach events and other affiliate events. Weekend and evening hours may be required.
Builds relationships for event sponsorships thru networking and business engagements.
Interpersonal Relations and Stewardship:
Conducts self in a professional, collaborative, and cooperative manner at all times.
Leads development of small donor giving program for donors less than $1,000.
Management of Annual Signature Event

Other Information/Requirements: 

Prerequisite Requirements:
• At least three years of related work experience in non-profit setting.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in event planning and events management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in public.
• Experience with databases helpful
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to supervise and direct volunteers.
$1,000 Bonus of bilingual
